How to import Oracle Solaris 11.4 VM Template to VirtualBox 7.0 and enable Guest Additions features
In this video we are going to see how to import Oracle Solaris 11.4 VM Template to VirtualBox 7.0 and enable Guest Additions features (Shared Clipboard and Shared Folders).
Important Note: Need internet connection to update solaris packages.

Installation of Oracle Solaris 11.4 Appliance in VirtualBox
-----------------------------------------------------------
Requirements:
X86 system with a minimum of 4GB RAM
A minimum of 4 GB free disk space is needed for initial installation. The
available space on the virtual disk can grow to a maximum of 64 GB.
Instructions:
------------
1) Start VirtualBox application.
2) From File Menu, select Import Appliance
3) Select the sol-11_4-vbox.ova file from the directory to which it was
downloaded.
4) In the Appliance Import Wizard, change Appliance Import Settings to suit
your system:
RAM: Systems with more RAM should increase this amount (up to half of
available RAM is recommended).
Virtual Disk Image:
Select a directory in which the image size can expand (up to 64GB).
5) Start system image. Proceed through configuration screens that prompt
for hostname, timezone, default user and passwd, and root passwd.
Notes:
-----
* The template has been installed with the solaris-desktop group.
* To install additional software, use the "pkg update" or "pkg install" command.
* A message may appear which states that a newer version of Guest Additions
is available. see the following link for more information on Guest Additions:
