There are tons of different plugins that you can install on a Minecraft 1.11 Server, and this video shows you how to install them all. Now, please note that they must be for Minecraft 1.11, or they will not work when the server is launched and running. Installing Bukkit plugins in Minecraft 1.11 is actually pretty easy. What is difficult is making sure all of the plugins are on a correct version and running.
As far as installing World Edit, though, it is simple and easy. World Edit for Minecraft 1.11 is freaking awesome as it allows you to make massive incredibly huge structures quickly and easily without having to place each block one by one. With World Edit 1.11 many massive server builds would never be completed.
