About this video: Have you ever wondered how to import footage into Final Cut Pro X? In this video, we will show you everything you need to do in order to import and organize all of your clips in Final Cut Pro X. In this video, I will start from the very beginning to teach you how to import footage into Final Cut Pro X on a Mac.

The first thing you need to do to import footage into Final Cut Pro X is to open Final Cut Pro X and start a new event. Once you have an event setup in Final Cut Pro X, you can then import footage into Final Cut Pro X. To import footage into Final Cut Pro X, all you need to do is right click on the window and click "Import Media."

Once you have clicked on Import Media in Final Cut Pro X, a window will pop up allowing you to find places to import media into Final Cut Pro X. Additionally, you can open a new Finder window, find the media you want to import into Final Cut Pro X, and once you have done that, you should be able to drag and drop the media into Final Cut Pro X to then import video to Final Cut Pro X.

After you have selected the clip you wish to import into Final Cut Pro X, you can then click on a clip, drag it to the project, and you can start editing.
