For this tutorial, I am using Linux Ubuntu 19.10 but the instructions should be applicable to other Linux Ubuntu versions.

It provides you the option to buy, install games and play multiplayer.

***** Install Counter Strike Global Offensive for free
- Open Steam
- Go to "Add a game"
- Click on "Browse the steam store for Games"
- Select "Games", then select "Free to play",
You can see all the free Games proposed by steam and you see icons below each game,
These icons show the OS compatibilities with the game Windows, Linux and macOS

- Click on tab "What's Being Played"
- Click "Counter Strike Global Offensive"
- Click "Play Game". Once you have selected it, the download and installation of Counter Strike Global Offensive will be launched automatically
- Counter Strike is now Installed on your System
- Click on "Play"
