How to Install Netbeans 8.0.2 and Java JDK in Ubuntu 15.04 and Setting Up a Basic HTML5 Project

Let us Installing Netbeans and Java JDK in Ubuntu 14.04
You can also install in Linux Mint 17.1, 17.2
Installing Java JDK and NetBeans
Website :- http://www.oracle.com
When the download is complete, go to ~/Downloads and extract the tarball to /usr/local/bin:
Step 1 :- sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
Step 1 :- sudo tar -xvf jdk-8u31-linux-x64.tar.gz -C /usr/local/bin
Step 2 :- ls -l /usr/local/bin | grep jdk
Step 3 :- cd /usr /local/bin/jdk1.8.0_31
Step 4 :- ls

To install Netbeans with support for HTML5 and PHP, go to and click Download as
Step 5 :- cd ~/Downloads
Step 6 :- chmod 755 netbeans-8.0.2-php-linux.sh
Step 7 :- sudo ./netbeans-8.0.2-php-linux.sh --javahome /usr/local/bin/jdk1.8.0_31
