This video is a tutorial, that shows you how to mount, install and play The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall on your pc, using DOSbox 0.73.

The full guide can be seen written underneath:

1) Install DOSbox and download Daggerfall of the TES website.

2) Create a folder on your C drive and call it "dosgames". Extract the contents of the zip downloaded from the TES website into this folder.

2) Locate the DOSbox options application on your start page (Windows 8). Pressing it will bring up a notepad. Scroll down until you see the [dosbox] sign. Locate "memsize=xx" and change "xx" to 32. Save and close it.

3) Open DOSbox.

4) Mount the dosgames folder by writing: mount c c:\dosgames -freesize 1000

5) Mount the D drive, so you don't have to use the CD-rom, by writing: mount d c:\dosgames\dfcd -t cdrom -label Daggerfall

6) Write D: to move to the D mount. Then write INSTALL

7) You will be taken to an installation menu. Press "install the game to your hard drive" and then press "change the install size". Change the install size to "huge". Confirm, and the installation will begin.

8) After the installation, the sound card will need to be set up. Press enter while "auto-detect" is highlighted. This will bring you to a new menu. Press enter while "detect" is selected. Then move over to "ok" and press enter.

9) Afterwards, move down and select "select MIDI". Selecter "sound blaster 16" from the menu and then select the default port, 388. Navigate to "ok" and press enter. Press "ok" again and you will be dropped off at the command prompt again.

10) Write "DAG213" in the command prompt. This will patch the game. Press Y when asked to, until the patching has been completed.

11) Once patching is done, write "DAGGER" and the game should run.

Next time you want to play Daggerfall, all you have to do is the following:

- Open DOSbox
- Write: mount c c:\dosgames -freesize 1000
- Write: mount d c:\dosgames\dfcd -t cdrom -label Daggerfall
- Write: c:
- Write: cd\dagger
- Write: dagger

This will start up the game, without needing to do the installation all over.
