How to load .avi files in MMD (tutorial)
457hehe.. just wanted to make a tutorial on how to load .avi files in MMD.. ^^ or how to add the video on the background in MMD.. hehe the song is so sad XD it's just soooo soothing~

first open MMD :D
you should have MMD version 7.39 or above http://www.geocities.jp/higuchuu4/pict/MikuMikuDanceE_v739dot.zip
to make avi files work on MMD.. you have to download "Prism Video file Converter" the link: http://download.cnet.com/Prism-Video-File-Converter/3000-2194_4-10644345.html
it should be version 1.82 or above
so after you downloaded it, open it :D
click add files and select the video file you want to load on MMD..
change it to .avi then select where you want to save the video file.. (for me I save it on local disk D) AND! (thanks Becha27) click the encoder options and change the video compressor to MICROSOFT VIDEO 1 (IMPORTANT)
[I'm sorry I forgot to add this in the video.. the MOST IMPORTANT of all steps.. I made this video when I was so gloomy so I forgot...XD]
If you can't find microsoft video 1 try this http://codec.alshow.co.kr/page/en/msvideo1.htm (not working anymore)
or you can search online for microsoft video 1 codec.. it's very rare to find it though :( I think your computer has to have it already because it comes along with microsoft's other codecs that are already in your computer...

TADA~! you can now load it in MMD..
If an error comes out like "Cannot make surface file for avi" close other windows or applications that are running other than MMD and refresh the desktop..
For those who has problems like it's only black.. maybe it's your graphics card.. I just think so.. XD I'm not sure..
If this doesn't work.. I don't know anymore T^T
