Memes have become a new language, a new way to communicate some abstract ideas that people can identify with. A meme is a symbol of our culture and society, usually to ridicule ourselves. The whole purpose is to laugh and express ourselves. The majority of memes are pictures, but there are also videos and gifs, even verbal expressions.
*Triggered Meme*
Open up filmora, Get the triggered template that i made for this video and for everyone out there that needs it. It’s at the end of this video, a present from me to you. We’ll put it on the pip layer when our still frame starts. Select the clip and click here in this icon that says Green screen in the tool bar. A new window opens up and here you just need to check the box next where it says green screen. Let’s see how it looks. Cool, is missing some movement thou. Let’s go to filters here to add some camera shake. You can select the direction and how much you want it to shake, this needs chaos. (Play) Alright, we need to add now some blur. Still in filters, let’s select the distortion category and then blur. Ok, last thing: the red tint of anger. Select the still on the main track and then the edit icon in the toolbar. Here you can play around with the colour correction settings, you can fry your image raising the saturation and contract, there is even luts you can use, here are some but if you press in advance or in the color palette icon in the toolbar (advance color tuning), there are more options to change the color of you image. We are going to make it more red by playing with the white balance. Let’s go here in “color” lets raise the saturation and add more vibrance. Let’s just add one more thing. I can’t see very well the finger that pokes him so we are going to add some text. Select text here in the tool bar. Then we are going to choose any that looks like plain simple, ok this one.

You will need the video of the person you want to travel through space and a video or picture of a galaxy. Ok, drag the main video to the timeline and we are going to shorten this clip to just have the part after he jumps. There. Now we are going put the timeline marker where we want this guy to go into space and we’ll make a cut. We are going to make stills of his fall so he has movement when he gets to space. Lets select 5 points, click here to make a still. There, now we have to go to out of filmora for a bit and go to fotophire. If you don’t have you can download it in our webpage.
Ok here we have to open the cutter. We are going to take the background of each one of those still. So just select the background, then remove and save it as png. Boom, let’s get back to filmora. Import the stills without the background, drag the video of your galaxy at the end of the timeline and in the pip layer we are going to drag the stills. Adjust the timing and then you can copy paste the stills so they repeat and create a nice movement while he falls. (Play) Cool! We can add some extra flare. In filters or overlays there is a variety of psychedelic effects we can use. Let’s see. Let’s use this one shine b. (Play) You can always go furthers and add more galaxy effects. (Play) So long my friend! NEXT!

You might want to use the original Tim and Eric’s one but why not make your own better? The only thing you need is to record yourself with black background or green screen. I have my footage here. I am going to make a quick cut to resemble the original mind blown. There. We are going to add some effects now to have the head exploding!

Import your media files to Filmora and drag and drop the file on the timeline. I'm going to cut parts of the beginning and the end to make it shorter and just have the part when the sugar falls.
Now, I want to adjust the speed of the clip so that it looks slower. To do this, I click on the video, and I move the speed slider bar to the left. I will put it in 5 seconds per frame, which is a good speed for a Gif. Let's see the result. Now I'm going to export. Select the Format icon and make sure to select the GIF format that is near the bottom of the list. To change the resolution and the frames per second, click on Settings. The original resolution of this video is 1920x1080, I'm going to download it so it can be easily shared and uploaded online. I'll leave it at 640 x 360. As for the frames per second, try to use between 12 to 15 fps, to keep the size of the file small. Click on accept and then export!
