How to make a Moscow Mule - Cocktail Tutorial
This week I teach you how to make the Moscow Mule and homemade ginger syrup if you are adventurous enough to try that!
Moscow Mule
1 oz Homemade Ginger Syrup
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Lime Juice
a splash of Club Soda
Add ginger syrup, vodka, and lime juice to a shaker with ice and shake. Double strain that into your glass or copper mug (with ice), then top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a lime wheel.
Home Made Ginger Syrup
1/2 lb of raw ginger
12 oz Blue Agave
12 oz Water
1Tbsp of back pepper
Peel the ginger and then cut in to pieces. Add the ginger pieces, blue agave and water to a blender. Once blended lightly toast your black pepper in a sauce pan then add the blended mixture. Bring the mixture to a light boil cover then remove from heat. Let it sit for 30 minutes covered. Once 30 minutes has passed uncover and let cool. Once cool use cheese cloth to strain out the liquid. Bottle the ginger syrup into a resealable container. I know you didn't see me do this on the video but add a bit of vodka to the syrup to help it last longer in the fridge. (I did this on video when I made the Sweet and Sour Mix)
