How to make a Resident Evil Room using Whiteboxing in Unreal Engine 4 | Devlog #3- Game Development
Devlog #3 - Whiteboxing on Day 2 and Day 3
This video documents my learning experience of whiteboxing using Unreal Engine 4. The room I chose to design was the Dark Room from the original Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. I realized working with a white room is MUCH nicer than working with a textured room. Plus I made horrible choices with the textures. A white room is cleaner to work with and creates a better headspace for the designer. It took me two attempts to make this room but it was worth the experience of learning and then applying my knowledge!
