Devlog #12 - Puzzle Game Completed!

The puzzle game is complete! I built this using Unreal Engine 4.26 and lots of patience. Secret and hidden passages have been installed. Lighting and colors were especially tricky to get just right but it can always be better. I learned a few things about sounds when making this game as it is a major mechanic in helping players move through the environment and gives it a nice feel. I'm still confused about how sound attenuation works but hey, it works. Haha!

I ran into some trouble when packaging this game. Turns out the Object Inspection plugin does not play nice with Windows 64 packages. Produces an error about Visual Studio not being installed. Thankfully, Unreal's engine folder had all the sound cues I needed. So everything worked out fine in the end. So give it a go! Can you reach the END?

My videos are inspired by the Youtubers such as Dani, Make Games with Katie, Code Bullet, and Sebastian Lague. If you don't know who they are, I highly recommend you check these legends out. Except that last one. He's an OG. Definitely check him out! ;)
