Adding Blocks, Platforms and Holes to a Maze in Unreal Engine 4 | Devlog #7 - Game Development
Devlog #7 - Adding Game Mechanics - Late Day 6
This video documents my learning experience of adding simple game mechanics to a maze I built in Unreal Engine 4. This included:
- movable physics blocks (had to make them VERY light)
- stepping platforms (basically wide blocks to jump on!)
- a hole in the ground (box brush subtraction)
It took just under 100 minutes to do all this. Don't ask me how I compressed all that footage into 4 minutes of entertainment. I don't know either. But hope it didn't go by too fast! (Please comment below if it did)
PS: Did you notice the secret passage?
