Step 1. Open the Venmo app on your Android device, and then tap "Me" in the menu on the home screen.
Step 2. Tap the "Settings" icon at the top of this screen. You'll land on the settings screen.
Step 3. Navigate to the Preferences section, and then tap "Privacy." A list of privacy options are shown.
Step 4. Find the More section, and then tap "Past Transactions" in this list of options. The Privacy for Past Transactions screen opens.
Step 5. Tap "Change All to Private." A window pops up asking if you're sure you want to change the privacy for your past transactions to be private.
Step 6. Tap "Change to Private." That window will close, and you'll see a note that you've successfully updated all of your past transactions. All of those past transactions will be private going forward, and won't be visible to other people.
