Before then, I accidentally discovered how to dead-thrall Gormlaith Golden-Hilt using that exploit, and then applied it to Miraak. I later play-tested Miraak, and fast-traveled to Raven Rock, where he appeared next to me, managing to escape Apoccypha.

Missing your wedding in Skyrim enables player controls during moments when they are normally disabled. There are several versions of Miraak encountered in Skyrim. This version of him is not essential and can be dead-thralled, but is normally erased from the game after he kicks the player out of Apocrypha. I used a scroll of Firestorm to kill him, as my character did not have enough magicka to use the actual spell and Dead Thrall too. As a dead thrall, Miraak does not groan, and also retains his unique battle dialogue.

This version of Miraak starts at level 35, and will continue to be the exact same level as the player after level 35. He does not have a level cap, like the boss of the questline.
