Learn how to easily make VLC media player your default media player in Windows 7.
A default program is the first program that windows uses to open a particular file. When you double click on a file, the default program for that file will open it.
To make VLC your default media player, you first need to make sure VLC has permission to open all the media files.
Go to 'Tools' , then 'Preferences'
Scroll down and click 'Set up associations'
Make sure vlc has permission to open all media files.
Thenyou can go to the control panel and set the program as the default for all file types and protocols it can open.
Select VLC and click on 'Set as default'
