🍜HOW TO MAKE WAGAMAMAS STYLE CHILLI BEEF RAMEN🍜
Hey guys. Who loves wagamamas ? I do. Why not try this recipe. Very very close to the real thing and it will have you wanting more.
Ingredients you will need -
Stock -
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
4 tablespoons of mirin
1 stock cube per 1 litre of water (i usually use 2 litres to make a pans worth)
1 pak choi
100/150 grams of mushroom per person
Noodles (you can experiment here and use different ones. The finer the better)
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Handy tip. Let the stock simmer for a while to reduce the liquid and to have a fully flavour. Taste testing is key during the half way stage.
Garnish -
Small handful of spring onion per person
1 egg per person
Dash of fresh chilli per bowl
small handful of coriander per person
Handy tip. Always put the garnish in the bowl right at the end. Don't put this in the stock while cooking.
Meat -
100/150 grams of steak per person
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Steps -
1)Once you've prepped all the veg it is time to start cooking.
Fry the garlic and ginger off for no more than 30 seconds. Then add the soy and mirin and lightly let it sizzle for 20 secs.
2)Add cold water and the stock and let it come to boil (1 stock cube per 1 ltr of water). Once to boiling point add the mushrooms and pak and let it simmer for 20 mins.
3)Cooking the beef. Season well on both sides and fry. I'd recommend medium rare. Leave it for a few mins then cut into slices and set aside.
4)Time to taste test the stock. I would recommend some salt and pepper and the longer you let the stock simmer the more flavour gets drawn out.
5)Start the eggs
6))After your desired time, add the noodles for few mins to allow them to cook and then plate up to your liking.
7)Garnish well and enjoy.
