How to Make Your Players Take Your Hooks Every time| Game Master Tips
So many times I hear how Players ignore their DM or GM when they put out adventure hooks for the gaming group. As dungeon master I'm no stranger to this problem, but I have come up with a solution. You need to introduce stories to the characters that mean something to them. In 5e character backgrounds with their ideals, personality traits, and bonds is a great place to mine for hooks. Further more if characters give you back story use as much of that as possible from as many of the player characters as possible.
