Video Transcript:
Do you ever open an email on the go, only to realize you need to address it more thoroughly when you're back at your desk? Whether it's a detailed response that requires your full attention or simply wanting to remind yourself to revisit an email later, marking emails as unread can be incredibly useful.
In this video I'll show you how to easily mark emails as unread in the Microsoft Outlook app, helping you keep track of important messages and manage your inbox more effectively.
Step 1. Make sure the "Mail" tab is selected at the bottom of the Microsoft Outlook app.
Step 2. Hold your finger against any of the emails in your inbox. Your view will change to one where you can bulk select email messages.
Step 3. Tap to place a check mark next to any of the email messages you want to mark as unread, and then tap the "Mark as Unread" icon in the menu along the bottom of the screen. The Mark as Unread icon looks like a closed envelope. You'll return to your normal Microsoft Outlook inbox screen, where you'll now see small blue dots next to your selected messages, indicating that they are unread.
