Are you looking to clean up your Google Drive and remove some clutter? Deleting unnecessary folders is a great way to keep your digital workspace tidy and organized. It's important to note that after you delete a folder from Google Drive, you'll have a 30-day window where you can restore it.
In this video I'll show you how to quickly and safely delete a folder in Google Drive, whether it's to free up space or simply because you no longer need the contents.
Step 1. Open Google Drive in your web browser, and then navigate to the folder you want to delete from Google Drive.
Step 2. Find the drop-down arrow next to the current folder name, and then click that drop-down arrow. A menu opens.
Step 3. Click "Move to Trash." You'll see a note letting you know that specific folder has been moved to your Google Drive trash. Folders will be automatically deleted from the trash after 30 days. If you change your mind, you have a 30-day window where you can restore deleted folders from the Google Drive trash.
