How to move, copy, and backup SD Card DLC music tracks for Rock Band and Guitar Hero on Nintendo Wii
WARNING - I will NOT be held responsible for any damages the methods shown in this video may cause to yours or someone else's computer, hardware, software, and/or data, including loss of use of such devices and/or loss of data and/or loss of profits from the resulting inability to use such devices and data. Any information or program you choose to put into use from this video is done AT YOUR OWN RISK. As a precaution, I recommend backing up any irrecoverable data before using ANY new software(s), including those shown in this video.
This video will show you how, with a personal computer (PC) and an SD card reader, how you can copy over and backup your downloadable content (DLC) music tracks from such music game series as RockBand, Guitar Hero or Band Hero onto your computer's hard drive in order to sort through your DLC songs in order to ultimately rearrange and organize your DLC content into specific folders that can be copied over to an SD Card when ready to be used on your Nintendo Wii (and then deleted from said SD card afterwards should the user desire to then copy over and play different DLC). This can be especially useful for those who either have limited space on their SD Cards (as games such as Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour allow for SD Cards of but a maximum of 2 GBs in size) or for those who have purchased a newer music game that supports SDHC cards of over 2 GBs in size (such as Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock or Rock Band 3) and now want to copy over all of their pre-existing DLC content from one or multiple smaller SD card(s) to a larger SDHC card to be used in the newly acquired game.
This backup method is also a good way to restore DLC music tracks that have become corrupted (which saves both time and bandwidth from having to re-download said DLC from the in-game music store).
