How to reset the display setting on a Sony PlayStation 3 ( PS3 ) system when booting the console

This video will show you how to reset the display settings of your Sony PlayStation3 ( PS3 ) console system to a standard base resolution that can be viewed by your display (whether it be a high definition HDTV television, standard definition television, etc.) This is especially useful for those who have selected a video output mode that is not supported by their display (such as 1080p) and are now seemingly stuck on a black screen with no way to see what they are doing and therefore cannot escape to a supported resolution (such as 480i or 576i, 4:3). This method is done on the starting up (or booting) of the console and therefore does not require that you navigate system settings, console settings, display settings, etc.
