Step 4. Tap "Get Started." The next screen shows you various steps you need to go through to move your Fitbit account to be associated with your Google account.
Step 5. Find the Step 1 section, and then tap "Next." If you're not signed in to a Google account, you'll be prompted to log in to the Google account you want to move your Fitbit account to. Alternatively, if you currently have a Google account associated with your device you'll see a window at the bottom of the screen that will prompt you to choose that device. Further, if you have multiple Google accounts associated with your device, you can tap the "Down" arrow to see all of those accounts. Tap the Google account you want to use, and then tap the "Continue" button.
Step 6. Find the Step 2 section, and then tap "Next."
Step 7. Review your Fitbit health and wellness information on this screen, and then tap "Continue." The next screen shows you apps that are connected to your Fitbit account. Tap "Disconnect" next to any apps you want to disconnect from, and then tap "Continue." The next screen prompts you to review your email and notification preferences.
Step 8. Review and update your email and notification preferences, and then tap "Continue."
Step 9. Finally, find the Step 3 section, and then tap "Next." The next screen shows you an overview of what data Google will have after this transfer, and also how Google will use that data. Review this information, review and give the required consent at the bottom of this section, and then tap "Agree and Move." The next screen lets you know that your Fitbit account has successfully been moved to your Google account.
Step 10. Tap "Got It." The next screen asks if you want to provide your data to help build new products and advance health research. Choose whether or not you want to do this at the bottom of this screen. In this example, I'll tap "No Thanks." You'll land on your Fitbit home screen.
