Step 1. Navigate to your PlayStation 5 home screen, and then click "Settings."

Step 2. Click "Saved Data and Game App Settings" in the settings menu. The associated screen opens.

Step 3. Click to select "Automatic Updates" in the menu on the left side of the screen, and then click to toggle on "Auto Install in Rest Mode." Going forward, your PS5 will automatically download and install the latest versions of games and apps when your console is in rest mode.
