4The PS5 Pro, like the original PS5, does not have a dedicated or traditional internet browser app that can be accessed directly through the home screen. However, you can still access the web using these workarounds:
1. Using the Console’s Built-in Web Browser (via Links)
While there’s no direct "browser" app, you can open a web browser through certain actions, such as clicking on links from the notifications, game pages, or social features.
To open the browser via a link:
On the home screen, press the PS button to open the Control Center.
Scroll to Game Base or Notifications where a link (like an article or game news) is shared.
Click on the link, and it will open in the console’s built-in web browser.
2. Accessing the Web Browser via Settings or Search Bar
You can also access the browser by typing a URL in the search bar.
To do this:
On the home screen, press the PS button to open the Control Center.
Select the Search icon at the top right of the screen.
Type a web address (e.g., www.google.com) into the search bar.
Select the URL, and it will open the browser.
3. Using the PlayStation App on Mobile
While the PS5 Pro doesn’t have a standalone browser, you can use your mobile device to access websites and then share or interact with content related to your PS5.
The PlayStation App (available for iOS and Android) lets you interact with your PS5 from your phone, including browsing the PlayStation Store.
