This can come in handy if you wish to keep a certain window on top and open that overlays on top of other windows. Using Microsoft Powertoys, it is very easy to do this. This program is free and has a variety of cool features.
To pin a window on screen in windows, download powertoys, then press the windows key + CTRL + T button. This will create a blue border around the windows which tells you the window has been pinned. To turn this off, simply press the same keys again.
