Hi and welcome once again everyone to my how to play series featuring the Hms Daring, the wows Tier 10 british destroyer.
This world of warships wows Daring review contains all my own personal hms Daring gameplay highlights including wows daring modules, full world of warships daring build with captain skills including my own thoughts and strategy on how to play the hms Daring to it's strenghts one of the best royal navy destroyers in wows.
The Daring class was a class of eleven destroyers built for the Royal Navy and Royal Australian Navy. Constructed after World War II, and entering service during the 1950s, eight ships were constructed for the Royal Navy, and three ships for the RAN. Two of the RN destroyers were subsequently sold to and served in the Peruvian Navy.
A further eight ships were planned for the RN but were cancelled before construction commenced, while a fourth RAN vessel was begun but was cancelled before launch and broken up on the slipway.
The Daring class ships were both the largest and most heavily armed ships serving in Commonwealth navies to be classified as destroyers. They were intended to fill some of the duties of Cruisers, which post WW2 were considered both expensive and obsolete by Naval Planners, and were briefly officially considered a hybrid type Darings before being rated as destroyers.
The Daring class ships were the last and the largest British destroyers carrying torpedo tubes and artillery guns. Their main battery comprised of 113 mm guns mounted in enhanced dual-purpose turrets which saw use during the Indonesian Confrontation and the Vietnam War.
The Daring class destroyers were in service in the RN and RAN from the 1950s to the 1980s. Following decommissioning, two RN Darings were sold to Peru, which operated one ship until 1993 and the other until 2007. One ship of the class is preserved: HMAS Vampire as a museum ship at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Hms Daring's six 113mm guns come sporting a high base fire chance and fast reload of only 2.2 seconds with my daring captain skills build.
The ability to traverse her turrets a full 360-degrees aids her in keeping her guns on target while maneuvering. However, without Inertia Fuse for HE Shells she can only penetrate 18mm of armor,
making the skill a must.
Wows Daring's armor-piercing shells also boast enhanced auto ricochet angles, enable her to better deal damage vs angled targets. Her torpedoes armament is also an improvement,
now sporting a 10km range and ten tubes combined with a relatively fast reload.

This remarkable rate of fire, improved turret turning speed with retention of 360° traverse for all three turrets and decent firing angles make Daring feel very comfortable in most gunfights.
The daring's gun ballistics, combined with high rate of fire allow you the ability to ‘walk’ fire onto targets.
It's not all roses for the Daring however and despite being 1knot faster that the Jutland the Daring literally feels sluggish in comparison to previous tiers with even slower rudder shift
and an even larger turning radius. Daring does get a decent amount of hit points and the same repair party as Jutland giving her among the best survivability at T10 you will need every drop of HP you can squeeze out of them due to the fact the Daring rides incredibly high on the water and is very easy to hit.
