In addition, the so-called "tick rate", i.e. the frequency of server updates, was taken into consideration, which from now on has no effect on shooting, moving or throwing grenades. Game Modes Although Counter-Strike 2 can be played alone, multiplayer has been at the heart of the series since its inception, and this is no different. So playing alone can be treated as a kind of introduction to the proper game with other players. Technical issues Counter-Strike 2 is based on Source 2 technology, which resulted in a thorough refreshment of the graphic design.
