I’ve had some requests on how this is done on a few of my mod retrospective videos so here's how to download and play half life mods from moddb through steam

https://www.moddb.com/mods/

Step 1. Make sure you have half life 1, 2 or the respective episodes installed for the mods to work.

Step 2. Make sure you have Source SDK Base 2006, 2007, and or 2013 installed, you can find it by clicking on your games tab, clicking on tools, then search "sdk base" to download them all.

Step 3. Download mods through moddb such as through the city, then drag and drop it into your sourcemods folder located in steam apps. Its important that this is dropped into your C drive or wherever steam is installed on your computer.

Step 4. restart steam and enjoy your mods!
