The first thing I go over is Bandit's loadout. Run his MP7 over his M870, even though the shotgun is pretty good and in the game of Rainbow 6 Siege an smg will always be more versatile than a shotgun. For his secondary gadgets you will mainly want to run his nitro cell unless you are dead set on putting his bandit charges on barbed wire.
For his actual operator ability you have his Shock Wire. This electrifies reinforcements for walls and hatches, as well as barbed wire and deployable shields. Electrifying a surface will make it to where any secondary gadgets, drones, or in some cases operator abilities, will get destroyed on contact with the exception of defender utility.
This being said there are two ways to use Bandit in r6s. The first way is Bandit tricking. Bandit tricking is essentially the action of waiting for a piece of hard breaching utility to be placed on the wall (using sounds to determine), and then placing your bandit charge accordingly. This is now extremely easy to do as bandit can have multiple charges on a wall so he can just put another one on, instead of taking one off and putting another one on in the short amount of time you're given.
The second way of playing bandit is to just put his shock wires where you want them in the prep phase, and let them do the work. Unless you want them to get destroyed, only do this method if thatcher and maverick are both banned, as they will destroy your bandits anyway.
