So your PC won't boot and you have all your precious data files on that computer which you want to recover? So how do you recover your data when Windows won't boot? It's a pretty simple process and there are many ways to do it but in this video, we will be taking a look at Ultimate Boot Disk Active@ LiveCD! Once you create your CD/DVD or bootable USB with Active@ LiveCD you will then need to change your boot order in the BIOS. you can normally enter the BIOS by tapping the F2 or DEL key on boot up. You can then change the boot order to boot to USB or CD and then Active@ LiveCD will load up. You will then be in a graphical live environment when you can perform the recovery of your data.
Important: If your hard drive is failing it can be risky trying to recover data and you may want to seek a professional for advice. If your Hard Drive is dead it will not be possible to recover your data and data recovery will be necessary. We are doing data transfer from one drive to another.
You will need a second computer to create the LIVE CD or USB and you will need a storage device large enough to transfer your data to. The size will depend on how much data you are trying to recover. USB Flash Drive it External Hard Drives is needed.
