Twitch channel points can be used on predictions to select the outcome you expect to happen. When a prediction is made the channel points are taken away from the viewer until an outcome has been confirmed. Once an outcome has been selected by a moderator, the users with correct predictions will be rewarded with channel points.

Deleting a prediction will refund all channel points that have been used on the prediction, regardless of the selected outcome. A prediction can only be deleted before an outcome has been selected. Once an outcome has been chosen, then the prediction is marked as complete and can no longer have the channel points refunded.
