This is especially useful if you want all of your new members to be granted multiple roles.
Auto roles are also useful to give each joining user a colored name. Without roles their name will remain grey, which will make chat look boring and less inviting. Colored names ensure that the username of the person speaking is readable on both dark and light themes.
