Steps to Replace the Display on iPhone X:
Gather Tools and Replacement Screen: Ensure you have a replacement screen, Pentalobe and Phillips screwdrivers, plastic pry tools, suction cup, and adhesive.
Power Off the iPhone and Remove Screws:
Power off your iPhone X.
Use a Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two screws next to the Lightning port.
Heat the Screen Edges (Optional):
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently warm the edges of the display to soften the adhesive.
Lift the Screen:
Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the screen. Gently lift with the suction cup and use a plastic pry tool to separate the display from the frame.
Work carefully around the edges to release the clips holding the screen.
Disconnect Display Cables:
Open the screen from the left side like a book. Unscrew and remove the metal shield covering the display connectors.
Carefully disconnect the battery and then the display connectors to fully remove the old screen.
