In today's stream Ventus is taking on a challenge: How to research for a video game essay.
Drawing from a history education, we'll look at the 2008 rough (very very rough) gem Haze as an example of thoughtful design when it comes to acknowledging what the player is actually doing in game.
We're coming in with a question: How does Haze reckon with the consequences of the player's actions, does it actually, and what can it tell us, if anything, about ourselves and the people who make and plays games.
