Over time, you've probably granted access to various apps and websites using your Facebook login. For security reasons, it’s important to keep track of these connections. Knowing which apps and sites have access to your account allows you to manage your privacy, revoke permissions from services you no longer use, and protect your personal information from potential misuse.
So, if you’re ready to take control of your online privacy and keep your Facebook account secure, let’s dive right into it.
Step 1. Open the Facebook app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on your Facebook home screen.
Step 2. Tap the "Menu" icon at the bottom of the screen. The menu screen opens.
Step 3. Tap the "Settings" icon at the top of this screen. The Settings and Privacy screen is displayed.
Step 4. Scroll down to the Your Activity section, and then tap "Apps and Websites" in this section. The associated screen opens where you'll see a list of apps and websites that you've connected to your Facebook account. You can see more information about these websites and apps by tapping on them. The resulting screen is where you can renew the connection if its expired, remove specific information, or disconnect the connection.
