How to Set Up Fingerprint Security on Realme Narzo 30A

In this video, I will show you how to add and set up fingerprint security on the Realme Narzo 30A smartphone.
Fingerprint Authentication
Just like other Android smartphones, Realme devices also offer biometrics features for augmented security. Among the said features is the fingerprint authentication. That said, you can use your fingerprint to lock and unlock the device. In order to use this feature, you will need to register your fingerprint on the phone.
Fingerprint registration in Android smartphones is fairly simple. The entire process is carried out through a fingerprint setup wizard that instructs and guides towards the end.
Depicted in this tutorial video is the actual process of registering and setting up fingerprint security on the Realme Narzo 30A. And here’s how it’s done.
First, be sure to keep the fingerprint scanner from dirt or any possible obstructions. Also ensure that the finger that you’re about to register is not oily or dirty.
Whenever you’re ready, access the main settings menu by tapping on the Settings icon from the Home or Apps screen. Just look for the gear icon.
While on the main settings menu, scroll to find and then tap Fingerprint, face and password from the given options.
On the next menu, tap the option to Add fingerprint under Biometrics section.
Then, enter your PIN, pattern, or password to continue.
The fingerprint setup wizard will then launch, prompting a step by step instructions to guide you in registering your fingerprint.
Just read the onscreen prompts and commands so you'll be guided accordingly.
Proper placement of the finger on the scanner is the key to a faster fingerprint registration.
When the phone is finished scanning your fingerprint, you will see a Done status with a message saying that fingerprint registration is ready and so on.
Just tap Continue to proceed.
The recently registered fingerprint will then be saved and added in the fingerprint list.
To specify the use of your registered fingerprint, tap Use fingerprint for and then tap to enable the switch next to the preferred options.
You can activate and use a registered fingerprint for screen unlock, app lock and private safe.
To add another fingerprint, just repeat the same steps to get back to the fingerprint, face and password menu and then follow the onscreen commands from the setup wizard to add a new fingerprint on the phone.
