Simple Tweak to Speed Up your Android Phone

In this video, I will show you how to reduce lags and speed up an Android phone using a tweak from the Developer Options.
A number of entry-level and mid-range smartphones are now occupying the mobile shelves worldwide. Surprisingly, many of these phones do offer decent specs at a significantly lower cost. Thus, more practical smartphone users would opt to procure these variants than high-end models.
But the common downside of most entry-level and mid-range devices is that they slow down in time. That said, many people are complaining about their smartphones performing very slowly or getting laggy even just after weeks or months of usage. This is often the case among devices with low storage or memory capacity.
Depicted in this tutorial video is a simple tweak that can help reduce sluggishness on an Android smartphone.
Here's one of the many ways to speed up your Android phone's performance using a developer options tweak.
First, you will need to unlock the Developer Options on your phone.
The steps in unlocking developer options vary between device models but usually it’s done by successively tapping the Build Number (most Android phones) or MIUI number (Xiaomi phones) from the About menu.
In this demo, I use a POCO M3 as a reference device. And this is how to unlock developer options on this phone.
Once you've accessed the developer options menu, scroll down to the lower section until you see the animation scale features.
One of the effective tweaks that can help speed up the phone is by setting the screen animations to reduce transition effect when doing common tasks like swiping between home screens. This will result in quicker and smoother taps.
To make this happen, tap on Window animation scale and then change the default value to point 5x.
Do the same to the transition animation scale and animator duration scale.
Setting the animation scale values will make animations on your phone appear almost twice as fast as they did before, making the device faster.
And that's one of the widely used developer mode tweaks that you can carry out to speed up your sluggish Android phone.
