How to Set Whatsapp Messages to Automatically Delete
33In this video, I'm going to show you how to set WhatsApp to automatically delete messages, open the WhatsApp app on your phone, tap on the three dots at the top right corner. Tap on the settings button. Tap on the top option, which is account. Then tap on the top option again, which is privacy.
If you notice down towards the bottom of the screen, There is an option for disappearing messages, tap into this Default message timer option, You can now set a timer for new chats to automatically delete the messages within a 24 hour period, a seven-day period 90 days or just keep it off.
When you turn it on, it just means that all new individual chats will start with disappearing messages set to the selected duration, just note that the setting will not affect your existing chats and that's basically all there is to it.
