How to Setup a Vacation Responder in Gmail on Android
In this video I'm going to show you how to set a vacation reminder on gmail or an out of office reply. Some people call it, whatever it is that you want to call it. I'm going to show you how to set that up now. So tap on the three lines in the top left corner and go down to settings, now tap on the Google account that you want to set up your vacation, reminder on. Scroll down a little until you see the option where it says out of office auto reply. Click on this and basically once you get this set up you can get this to automatically reply to anybody that's sending you an email to say that you're not available.
So go ahead and select the time frame of whenever you are not able to reply to your emails. And once you're happy enough with that, hit the OK button and then give it a subject. So you could just say that you're on annual leave or whatever it is that you're not able to reply back for and then give it a message.
So if there is someone that you are recommended to contact, instead of you In the meantime, while you're off, then you can put that message in here. And a thing to note is just underneath where it says, send to my contacts only this will only send to your contacts otherwise, if you leave that blank, that will automatically send it out to anyone that sends you an email.
