How to Disable Netflix Auto Play from Within the Mobile App
5In this video, I'm going to show you how to stop your Netflix videos from auto playing onto the next episode. So it's very easy to watch a TV show, and for the autoplay feature to go on to the next episode. And it's five hours later and you have wasted the whole day.
So, there is a way of disabling this feature, and I'm going to show you how to do that. Just now. So what you want to do is go in to Netflix and tap, on your profile, picture in the top right hand side of the screen, then tap on the account option Within the account option, what you want to do, is scroll on down to the bottom of the settings, until you get to the option, where it shows your account.
So, let's scroll down and find our account.
Now what we want to do is scroll on down a little more to the playback settings. And here, as you can see the top feature and setting is autoplay controls. I'm going to switch those off and hit save and basically what that means now is that whenever I go to watch a TV show, it will not automatically play the next episode.
So you may or may not like this feature. I tend to like to have a choice if I want to watch the next episode or not. So what we're going to do is go to the end of this episode and I'm going to show you just now what happens whenever it comes to the end of the episode now that we've changed that setting, it will automatically not play the next TV episode.
