How to Share Games to Other Accounts on Nintendo Switch (Fast Tutorial)
3Sharing games on the Nintendo Switch can be quite handy, especially if you have multiple consoles in your household or want to play the same game with friends. Here’s how you can do it:
Ensure You Have a Nintendo Account:
All digital game purchases on the Switch are linked to a Nintendo Account. Make sure you have a single Nintendo Account that you’ll use for both consoles.
Identify Primary and Secondary Consoles:
Each console will be registered as either a primary or secondary console.
The primary console has full access (both online and offline) to all titles linked to the eShop account.
The secondary console requires an internet connection to play games associated with the account.
Set Up Game Sharing:
On the primary console (where the games are installed):
Boot up the Switch and go to the Nintendo eShop.
Click on your player icon (upper right corner).
Scroll down to the bottom of the page on the right side.
Look for the option titled “Primary Console” and select “Deregister.” This will turn the Switch into a secondary device.
On the secondary console:
Log in with the same Nintendo Account.
Go to System Settings - Add User.
This device will now be registered as the Primary Console.
Redownload the game titles you want to share from the eShop.
Swapping Primary and Secondary Accounts:
If you want to switch the primary and secondary roles:
Deregister the Switch with the Primary Account. This will automatically change the permissions.

Cons:
