To adjust the notification settings on your Nintendo Switch, follow these steps:

From the HOME Menu, select System Settings.
Scroll down the options on the left-hand side and choose Notifications.
You’ll find the following options for notifications:

Download Complete Notifications: Opt in to be notified when a software application has finished downloading.

Friend Notifications: Allows you to receive notifications when a user from your Friend List is connected online or when you receive a friend request. To enable Friend features, make sure a Nintendo Account is linked to your Nintendo Switch User.
