Here's the step-by-step process for both you and your friend:
Step 1: Find Your Online ID
First, you need to find your unique PlayStation Network Online ID.
From the PS5 home screen, go to the top right corner and select your profile picture icon.
Choose Profile from the drop-down menu.
Your Online ID (your username) will be displayed right below your profile picture. It typically starts with an @ symbol.
Step 2: Share Your Online ID with Your Friend
Tell your friend your Online ID (e.g., @YourGamertag123). You can share this through a text message, social media, or any other messaging app.
Step 3: Your Friend Adds You on Their PS5
Once your friend has your Online ID, they can easily send you a friend request.
On their PS5 home screen, they need to press the PS button on their controller to open the Control Center.
