How to Scan for WIFI Networks on PS5 if Not Showing Up (Best Method)
2If your PS5 isn't showing your Wi-Fi network in the list, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. The best method is to go through a checklist of common problems, starting with the simplest solutions.
1. Simple Restart and Reset
Restart your PS5: Fully power down your console, do not use rest mode. Unplug it from the power source for about a minute. This can clear temporary software glitches that might be preventing it from scanning.
Restart your router: Unplug your router and modem for at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in. This will refresh your network connection and may make the Wi-Fi signal visible to your console again.
2. Manual Wi-Fi Setup
If your network still isn't showing up, you can try manually adding it. This is particularly useful if your network has a hidden SSID (network name).
From the PS5 home screen, go to Settings ⚙ ️ .
Select Network.
Choose Settings Set Up Internet Connection.
Instead of selecting from the list of networks, scroll down and choose Set Up Manually.
