How To: Sledge - Rainbow 6 Siege Operator Guide & Gameplay
41Welcome to my latest Operator Guide, covering 'Sledge'. His sledgehammer replaces breaching charges for a fast, shock and awe style breach, with multiple uses.
Sledge is a simple Operator to play with, but still versatile. I've found the best way to use him is a fast, surprise-based approach, smashing through walls where the enemy isn't expecting it and driving them out of their hiding places.
When playing in this shock-and-awe style, make sure to watch out for enemy traps laid by defenders like Bandit, Smoke or any Nitro Cell wielding character; his close-range breach can leave you vulnerable to a wary opponent, so keep your eyes peeled.
A cool note is that the sledgehammer functions as a melee weapon too - same range as the knife, but a lot slower (and all the more humiliating for the enemy when you score a kill!).
