How To Start A Racing Game
16If this video seems random and out of the blue, you're absolutely right, but trust me it'll make sense when I upload later videos. Plus I need to break the mold of uploading the same content all the time...
That said, this game is called GRID 2, a sequel to the original GRID that came in 2007 (Racedriver Grid in Europe). GRID was an awesome racing game that blended well simulation and arcade driving and was really fun. Most people consider GRID 2 disappointing because the handling is too arcade-like and drifty (not to mention the lack of a cockpit view), but personally I really like GRID 2. Also, I've gotten really good at this game since I can now tackle the races at the highest difficulty. It can be quite a spectacle too.
The reason why I uploaded this video was mostly because I find how the game begins to be epic, like an action movie. I especially love the musical score for this game. The soundtrack is very underrated and I want to make more people aware of it. The composer for GRID 2 is Ian Livingstone.
