Hey, remember Labyrinth Zone from Sonic 1 and how it was the bane of everyone's existence. Well, a user by the name of jubbalub decided to make a Sonic Mania mod based of that infamous zone. And honestly, I find this version to be kind of fun. The music remix also helps, especially the Act 2 version.
What makes this version of Labyrinth Zone more enjoyable is because you have a spindash, dropdash, elemental shields, better control (and no commitement to a jump after a roll or spindash like in the older classic Sonic games) and widescreen. These go a long way in making Labyrinth Zone more tolerable. It's slower paced, sure, but it just flows so well, I suppose.
Here I try my best to showcase this level mod as best as possible. I did the first Act flawlessly, but got hit during the 2nd Act multiple times. Was at the point of starting from scratch, but whatever, I'll keep it in. I'm only human after all...
