How to Start Modding Fallout 4 (.ini Setup)
862A quick video showing you how to start modding Fallout 4. Change a couple lines in some text documents and you'll be good to go!
Before you can mod Fallout 4 you need to change 2 files.
If you check Start - Documents - My Games - Fallout4
Open Fallout4.ini with a text editor and CHANGE:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
to
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
Open Fallout4Prefs.ini with a text editor and ADD:
bEnableFileSelection=1
to the 'Launcher' section.
