In this video, I'm going to show you how to stop WhatsApp backups using the WhatsApp app on Android. So go ahead and open up the WhatsApp app on your phone and tap on the three dots in the top right hand corner. Then tap on settings, now tap into chats, scroll down towards the bottom of the screen.


And you will see an option for chat backup. Tap into this, now where it says, back up to Google Drive tap on this. And as you can see in the pop-up menu, all you have to do is hit never, and that's basically all there is to stopping WhatsApp backups using the WhatsApp app on Android
