How to Supercharge 3 Common Pens (Dr. Grip, Cross Click, and F-701)
556Here are three common pens -- with excellent potential -- and an awesome upgrade for each. We'll look at the Pilot Dr. Grip ( https://amzn.to/2ShwVzs ), Zebra F-701 ( https://amzn.to/2TUPiMf ), and the Cross Click Gel rollerball ( https://amzn.to/2Q1jdV3 ). The respective upgrade pieces are:
The Pilot Dr. Grip can take a Pilot BRFN-30M-B Acro refill ( https://amzn.to/2P5br7f ). This thing is excellent. It's one of my favorites but it's a weird size so you don't see it very often.
The Cross Click can actually work with a Parker style (G2) refill! This isn't entirely obvious that it's possible, but it can work with a little finesse. That means you can get an EasyFlow 9000 ( https://amzn.to/2TOCHu6 ) in the Cross Click. That's a big win for this pen.
The Zebra F701 isn't an easy pen to find a refill for, but if you want a quick, no-hassle upgrade you can use the Zebra F Series 1.6mm refill ( https://amzn.to/2TVKMxo ). It's not in the same league as the EasyFlow, but it's definitely an upgrade.
